Question: What is the one thing all golf instruction methods have in common?

Answer: They contradict each other!!

The fact is that just about all coaching methods have individual merit but very few offer sustained solutions for golfers to take their game to a new level over time. The reason for this is that they tend to preach one method rather than to base their claims on physical facts and simple geometry. We are all different so the best philosophy needs to take account of individual body types and athletic ability.

My philosophy on golf is very simple. It can be stated in only a few lines:

Think about basic geometry for a moment. A circle must have a center and has no straight lines. It is the same with the shape a golf swing.

Now think about the laws of physics. There are only 2 ways to create power and move an object and that is to push it or pull it.  Again, this applies directly to the power sources of golf swing.

We all want to hit the ball both straighter and longer. With focus on using the correct knowledge and learning how to apply that knowledge you can do both these things. It will feel as if you have discovered the secret of golf. Actually, you WILL have found the secret because I believe that what I teach does not contradict any method or theory but explains the logic about what they all are trying to teach their students. The problem is that golf instruction based on one concept or method is never complete and therefore it cannot be totally effective for everyone, nor does it tend to offer lasting solutions.

You may already have a good understanding of the swing but you cannot make that knowledge work for you on the course. WHY? I believe it may be because you are contradicting principles of geometry or not working within the parameters of your physical characteristics.  Come and spend some time with me and I will prove these facts to you!
